Our Many Hands for Abaco Team
Where We Work
Many Hands for Abaco operates out of Camp Abaco near Marsh Harbour on Great Abaco Island. It is estimated that approximately 17,000 people call this island home.

Abaco, The Bahamas
Abaco is home to beautiful views and warm people. The island’s economy is based on tourism and citrus farming. Hurricane Dorian, which battered the island for two days, left ruin that is still being physically rebuilt today. The people of the island still hold the emotional and psychological scars of the storm, as well as work through challenges, like food insecurity, that were exaggerated during the disaster.
Our Location
Camp Abaco – Home Base
Camp Abaco in Abaco serves as a vibrant hub for our work, playing a vital role in supporting our programs and fostering the region’s growth. This dynamic campus encompasses a range of facilities and initiatives, including space to host Impact teams, a chapel, cooking facilities, and suite-style housing for long-term missionaries. By having our long-term missionaries reside at Camp Abaco, we ensure they can fully immerse themselves in the day-to-day lives of the people of Abaco, fostering meaningful connections and transformative experiences.
